10/29/2014: "Offsite Blogging CXCII"
On Orange 20's blog this week I tout information as the Silver Bullets that will quell the reactionary vampires…or so we hope. And at Flying Pigeon LA, I ponder the souls, if any, of the those scofflaw motorists who blast their horns at drivers ahead of them when they happen to be letting pedestrians finish crossing, saying in effect, Kill 'Em Already; Can't You See I'm Waiting?
And right here at Bicycle Fixation I apologize for not posting much of our own content lately. The business and the household—which are one and the same—are suffering a cashflow crisis which has me scrambling for other sources of income, as the recession has still not lifted for the bike fashion business that subsidizes this website.
If you don't have a hankering for fine dressy woolen bike clothes, maybe you could help out by purchasing my collection of essays on cycling, urban development, transportation in general, and the difficulties of keeping civilization on an even keel. You will find a description of the book, and links to the various marketplaces from which it is available, by clicking on its title: Our Own Day Here.
